I was born in 1980 in İskenderun.
My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Sciences from Trakya University (2005) and a degree in Social Sciences from Anadolu University (2023).

I completed my Master’s degree in Psychology at Çağ University, Social Sciences Faculty, and I am a member of the Advisory Board at the Institute of Social Sciences at Çağ University since January 2021.

With approximately 20 years of professional experience, particularly in the field of special education, I spent 9 years working in special education centers. During this period, I also provided intensive home psychoeducation and support to children with special needs and their families.

In March 2014, I established my own clinic, “Mine Ağır Psychological Counseling Center.” In December 2018, I founded the “Mine Ağır Special Education and Rehabilitation Center,” offering modern, comfortable, and warm services. I work with experts from various disciplines in a multidisciplinary approach to continue providing services in all areas of child and adolescent development.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults using various therapeutic approaches based on my extensive training. I completed the DIR 204: Becoming a DIRFloortime Expert & Training Leader program (2024), receiving the DIR-Expert title and becoming a Training Leader. I have the authority to open courses, train specialists (psychologists, special education teachers, child development experts, preschool teachers, physiotherapists, sensory integration therapists, ergotherapists, psychiatrists, etc.), and provide certification.

Additionally, I completed the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training with the Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies Association, conducted by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zihni Sungur. I completed the 1st module’s theoretical training and supervision (2021-2023) and passed the theoretical exam. I also completed the 2nd module’s theoretical training (2023) and the supervision (2024-2025). My 4-year CBT training is still ongoing.

I completed the EMDR Level 1 (2020) and Level 2 (2021) training from DBE Behavioral Sciences Institute with supervision, obtaining European accredited certification. I also completed EMDR Level 1 (2021) and Level 2 (2023) training for children and adolescents with supervision, earning European accredited certificates. In 2024, I completed the 36-hour Intensive Certification Program for EMDR Experts organized by AGATEINSTITUTE (Febris Counseling).

In the field of child therapy, I am an EMDR therapist, Play Therapist, ABA, OÇİDEP, Theory of Mind, PASS, Interaction-Based Teaching, GOBDÖ, C.A.T, T.A.T, LOUSIA DÜSS PSYCHOANALYTIC Test, SOBAT, DEM-OKU, and MOXO practitioner.

I completed the Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training at Ankara Yüksek İhtisas University in 2023.

I also completed the 480-hour Family Counseling Training provided by FSMVU Continuing Education Center in 2021, and I now offer family counseling services.

I regularly contribute to prominent Turkish news platforms, such as Milliyet.com and Mynet.com, by writing columns and offering expert opinions. My views are published monthly in leading Turkish news outlets.
